Monday will be our 18th wedding anniversary. We just came back from a camping trip--a wonderful but sandy affair of roughing it, cooking over a fire most evenings. So, I'd like to make a luxurious but somewhat light meal (it's supposed to be 90 here) that I will serve late, between 9 and 10 once the kids have gone to bed. I don't eat red meat or pork--it's gotta swim or fly for me to eat it--but the husband does love his red meat and is open to shellfish and poultry. Maybe a series of small, light dishes?
