Leftover Spareribs
Hi Everyone,
Any ideas as to what I should do with a leftover rack of Spareribs we made for the Fourth of July?
It was the first time we ever made ribs, and grilled them according to the River Cottage Meat book recipe. Now we have no clue what to do with the leftover ribs.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Reheat them, and eat for breakfast.

Hmm...I'm big on recycling leftovers, but this is quite a challenge. Depending on what the meat already tastes like, maybe go a little chic by coating it in a fresh herb crust >>> bake it for dinner? If there is plenty of meat on the bones, maybe you can pressure cook it with some homemade BBQ sauce to further tenderize /flavor the meat >>> strip down the meat >>> turn into pulled rib pork sandwich?
Can't say I've even tried doing any of those suggestions before...

I'm not sure I understand those words in that order. I've never seen a "leftover sparerib."

I agree with @beth1 - leftover ribs - what's that about!
depending on the rub/sauce you could try the meat in a pasta dish.

They also make an excellent sleep aid if eating cold, late at night.

Breakfast. Been there done that. I haven't had any complaints by just slathering some sauce on them and microwaving for two to three minutes. Cold the fatty parts may offend. I wonder if just cutting off the meat and giving it a quick sautee might not produce good taco filler or quesadilla or taco salad. If you used a spicy rub or hot bbq sauce you got it goin' on.

Beth1, Leftover sparerib. That is funny.
It seems the overwhelming response is to just eat as is, with some extra sauciness. I guess that may be the best way to go.
Although, the taco filling idea is a good one too.
Thanks for the suggestions!!

Freeze them and reheat on your grill. Will freeze for up to a year.

All of the above!

Depending on how willing the meat is to part from the bone, you could get the meat off, and use it for a hash, or omlette, taco of some sort.
Or--stand in front of the fridge in your bathrobe and gnaw on the suckers cold until your boyfriend wanders in wondering what you're up to. Then jam the offending bone in your robe pocket and feign innocence with sauce smeared on your face.
And I wonder why he hasn't proposed.
