Getting from Port Authority to UPN
Our bus arrives in Port Authority at 6:35pm tomorrow and I am trying to get to UPN before they run out of dough and close. For those of you who go there fairly often, can it be done? If so which route am I taking? Is taxi faster than subway? (I would assume it's not). I'm visiting for my birthday and if I get to eat there (we've got plans Saturday) then I will consider the trip a success. Help me get to UPN goodness in time!

Also, if we fail to make it in time could you suggest a place nearby to go for dinner? We're two guys who will pretty much eat anything but are looking for something different. We'd like to keep the bill under $80 for the two of us. No Italian, French, or seafood. Dessert will be a toasted marshmallow milkshake from the Stand. I've been dreaming about it ever since I saw if featured on SE.

> Take the A, C, or E train to 14th Street
> Transfer to the L train
> Take L to First Avenue
> Walk down First Avenue, take a right on East 12th Street
Should take you all of 30 minutes, if that. You'll probably get there before they run out of dough, though you may have to wait a bit.
