Eggs, eggs, eggs!
I have a CSA egg share, so every week I get a dozen farm fresh eggs. They are catching up with me, It's just my husband and I. Any ideas on how to use them up? Custard, ice cream, cake? What's your favorite way to eat eggs?

Eclairs! Four eggs in the pate choux, two more in the vanilla pudding filling.
Omelets for dinner.
I hate recipes like angel food cake that call for a dozen egg whites or hollandaise with four egg yolks because you have to do something pretty quick with the part you don't need. I know that you can separate eggs and freeze them and have whites or yolks on demand, except I don't have room in my freezer to do stuff like that and I know myself well enough to know that I'd forget they were in there.

Sounds like you should host a brunch for your family and friends.
I've been on a meringue kick lately. I made a bunch of pavlovas. Next I want to make a dacquoise. With the yolks, I've been doing things like making carbonara, salad dressings, treat for the dogs, zabaglione, creme brulee.

Put them in the back of your fridge and save them for halloween. Or is that just a little mean? ;)

@bette; my gran used to make 'orange cake' whenever she made Angel Food. It uses up all the yolks. I don't have a recipe to hand, but I'm sure you can find one. It makes a really soft and dense cake.

Heat up some good salsa, crack your eggs into the salsa add S and P, cover and cook gently. In the meantime slice up an avocado and shread some cheese. When the eggs are set add cheese on top of the eggs to melt. Slide eggs and cheese on top of the avocado. Enjoy!

Make meringues with the whites and lemon or lime curd with the whites. I make the "porcupine" shaped meringues and then fill them with curd.
