I recently picked up some strawberries from a local farm here in NJ (Dreyer Farms) and realized again how strawberries should really taste! Driscolls strawberries look great, but they have a lot of tasteless white flesh inside, unlike the farm strawberries that are completely red inside and out. The problem however is that no supermarket in my area sells anything else than the bombs from Driscolls. (i prefer them small as well) Whole Foods, Shoprite, Kings and even Trader Joes sell Driscolls. Is there only 1 big strawberry grower in the US?

What is your opinion, do you like Driscolls strawberries?
