Where to eat in Tucson?
I'm spending a week in Tucson, AZ this month and I have no idea where to eat! Need places for lunch and supper, so if you have a favourite, please let me know!
Will travel, but am staying at the Embassy Suites, if that helps at all.
Thanks so much!!

Locally owned restaurants. Note: this is the BEST TIME to visit Tucson, as the Tucson Originals group has their $20.09 specials all over town. Check out their website.
Please feel free to email me with questions. I've lived here for a few years now, and I could give you more recommendations. jazzwildcat at gmail.
And I have to ask - which Embassy Suites? Broadway/Craycroft or the airport location?

Don't miss Feast (creative, delicious, easy to love food), Jax Kitchen
( Delicious American comfort food), Tavolino (great Italian), Cafe Poca Cosa (for fancy mexican), Dos Mosaic(traditional Mexican) .
Actually, there are so many great restaurants in Tucson, it's hard to make a short list.
I lived there 18 years and go back every month for work. I was there last week, and would say Jax and Feast for me, I never miss an opportunity to at those restaurants.

@bisbee - No problem. It's not hard to find good food here. You just have to ignore what the guidebook in the hotel tells you. ;-)
