Where can I find some great coffee and chocolate in Los Angeles?
I am a coffee and chocolate FAN! I think they make a great combination. I am always on a look out for a great cup of coffee or some delicious chocolate!
So what I would really like are some suggestions to where I start exploring the world of gourmet chocolate/coffee?

LA Mill in Silverlake on Silverlake Blvd. has some serious coffee but they also do chocolates and could probably help you pair them well.
Compartes in Brentwood just started serving coffee to go with their generations of traditional chocolates plus newer bonbon offerings.
Leonidas does coffee service with their chocolates. There are quite a few locations in Los Angeles/Pasadena now.
Also up in Pasadena is the Pop Champagne Bar. They do house made chocolates & other desserts as well as coffee service. (I haven't tried their coffee.)
(I can't say that I've actually tried any/all of these.)

i don't know about the chocolate... but for the best coffee with atmosphere would be the Bourgeois Pig on Franklin in Hollywood.
The best coffee with location would be Tioga Cafe on Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea.
My fave coffee and food place is the Coffee Table in Eagle Rock on Colorado Blvd.

I'd add another vote for Leonidas. Absolutely delicious hot chocolate last time I was there, and the friend I was with enjoyed the coffee.
I also enjoy Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's chocolate-coffee drinks. (Also a chain, but still sooo good!)
