the new "strawberried peanut butter" m&m's

has anyone else tried these yet?
my mom got me a bag that i'm slowly working thru.
they're definitely different-not in a bad way, but more in the sense that it takes some time to wrap your head around what you're tasting.
they do remind me of a real peanut butter jelly sandwich & go pretty well with coffee.
i wouldn't necessarily mix them with plain chocolate m&m's or the peanut ones, but they're interesting on their own.
however, i can't really eat more than a few at a time.

I haven't been brave enough to try them yet. But upon finding that they just might be edible (thank you for being my official food taster!), I just got an idea for a kids' snack mix ....

They just don't sounds appetizing.

I haven't seen those yet, but I've tried the coconut ones (which don't have coconut flakes like, say, a Mounds bar). They're okay, but not enough flavor for me.

I have tried them - they weren't bad, though I agree with you about only being able to have a few at a time. They're weirdly filling. I think I was expecting more of a textural experience, but there were some fruit notes in the chocolate (it didn't seem like strawberry, just generic "fruit" flavor), then the peanut butter.

what? i never even heard of the coconut ones. are they widely available?

We live in upstate NY and I ony saw the coconut ones last week.

I haven't even heard of these before, but I never have come across an M&M I didn't like. I have to go out and hunt them down. I wonder if they would go good with an ice cold glass of milk too?

I'll definitely go out and get some this weekend, if it's even arrived here. I'm not a chocolate hound, but I always make an effort to try new M&Ms and Kisses. When I went to the M&M store, it wasn't a pretty sight.

I will stick with my fav Peanut M&M's. Yummmmmm

Maryland Crab

I saw an ad for them and my first thought was, "Ew, nasty." Then I remembered that I love strawberry jam & peanut butter on sandwiches. Still, I'm dubious that it can work in an M&M. I guess I'll have to try them.

But really, why can't the M&M people leave well enough alone? M&Ms are ridiculously good even in their most boring incarnations. Why do they have to keep messing with them?

Didn't know they existed, but I will be on the lookout. I'm imagining them as an add in to some buttermilk pancakes.

I'm with @beth1. You can have my share.

I am of two minds. On one hand, strawberried sounds very unpleasant. Yet the idea of them in peanut butter cookies sounds oddly intriguing.
