Need recipe for a fine crumb cornbread

Most cornbreads are too crumbly for some purposes. I'd appreciate a recipe for a finer and firmer crumb.

Weird, I just wrote down the cornbread recipe that I had my friend email me.
She made it for me before and it was awesome, don't know if it was fine crumb but here it is:

2cups bisquick
5tbsp cornmeal
1 cup sugar
2eggs
1c milk
1/2 stick butter
combine dry, add wet and bake 30-40 min at 350 in 9x9 cast iron skillet or pan.

1 box Jiffy.
End.

I agree with Jiffy. It's more cake like and holds together better as it's loaded with flour.

I'm telling you I just made that cornbread above and it was great!

What the heck is Jiffy?

Thanks for the input. I'll be trying them.
Jiffy is a box mix. Very good.

Anybody ever heard of Friefhofers "corn toasties"??
