Last Minute DC Bites Suggestions

I'm headed to DC tomorrow and will be staying until after the 4th of July. I know it's late, but I thought it never hurts to try to get a bit of extra advice on where to eat in the City.

Looking for all types of food in all price ranges (faceless corporate entity is footing the bill for part of the trip), so list place, style, and price! I guess location would nice, too.

Staying half the time near the zoo and the other half right by the capital, so things in those neighborhoods would be ideal, but I'm willing to travel.

Thanks in advance for the last minute tips!

Trust me, go to the cafeteria at the Museum of the American Indian. You will not regret it.

Bar Pilar - yummy and seasonally changed tapas
Taqueria Nacional - little taco takeout joint with amazing yucca fries and homemade aqua frescas (on capitol hill)

If you're logging in during your trip, I would also suggest the following cross-section of dining or munching venues: the great Eastern Market held on weekends, right behind the Capitol Building...good food at the indoor market and lovely neighborhood! We also enjoy Michel Richard's Central, his bustling bistro on Pennsylvania Ave., and on occasion Old
Ebbitt's Grill two blocks from the White House. If you're so inclinded, I would also recommend Eden Center in Falls Church for a wonderful variety of Vietnamese shops and restaurants...the real thing! A walk down King Street in Old Alexandria offers many other good spots to shop and dine...and of course, you must visit Georgetown and Clyde's...

oh you are going to have a great time!
Here are some of my favorites:
1)Zaytinya: great tapas (and it is right next to the Portrait Gallery in China Town)
2)Central: upscale, but still warm atmosphere and great food and big portions
3)Amsterdam Falafel in Adams Morgan: LOVE!!!! Just as good as falafel in Israel
4)Ben's Chili Bowl; get halfsmokes! Also, in the same neighborhood (U Street) there are good Ethiopian restaurants.

Sometimes I feel like a broken record but Dino's is my favorite place in DC and it's right near the zoo area.
