Iranian Recipes

My boyfriend's family immigrated from Iran 25 years ago and I now have acquired many Iranian friends and family. So in light of the protests going on to support a fair election, if you have any Persian recipes please share them! Spread your awareness through food!

Here's one of my favorites..
Fesenjaan

2 chicken breasts diced
1/2 ground walnuts
1 cup pomegranate nectar or syrup
1 large onion diced

Cook the diced chicken breasts in a pan, when almost done add the onions and cook until translucent. Stir in the ground walnuts and then the pomegranate nectar. Serve with rice.
