Help naming a blog!

My boyfriend and I want to start a blog. We both really love cooking and wine. We're by no means professionals--we just really enjoy cooking together and coming up with stuff on our own and want to share this with others. We're in our 20s living in Charleston, SC and want to highlight that we're regular young people who like to have fun, don't really have super fancy kitchen tools or lots of money but can still come up with some really cool delicious dishes. Brandon is the more creative and daring one who will throw anything together, and I am more timid, love measuring and baking is my specialty. Please help!

Coming up with blog names is always tough! Especially since there are a lot of cute/clever food blog names already out there. What about your favorite foods/ingredients? Favorite cooking techniques? Nicknames?

We came to this board 2 months ago with this same question and it caused quite a stir with some members! But yes, come up with some ideas or key things you want to be included in your concept and the members her will have lots of suggestions. We also blog as a couple and ultimately went with none of the boards suggestions, although some were very good. We're always hungry for food, recipes etc so we called it Ravenous Couple. White on Rice Couple has a list on their site with blogs written by couples. After you come up with a few, google it and make sure no one else has it.

Wooking - ha ha! W = Wine/ Ooking = Cooking! Yea, I'm a dork!

For the Love of Food = once again, I'm a dork

YEA, I was put on the spot, I don't know - maybe I'll come back!

In the mean time you can check out my blog: itiswhatitisgg.blogspot.com! ha ha!

I'd love to help with this. But I think I need more to start from. Your food blog name doesn't HAVE to be super-descriptive. Just memorable and unique. The thing is, it you make a name really specific, then some people might not even bother to check it out if it doesnt appeal to them right away. If you do something more general but catchy, people will at least click and check out the page. And then you can put a description in your header.

my suggestion right now is
Charleston Chewing? Or perhaps Chewing in Charleston....
It's kinda goofy.. its also a bit location-specific.
Anyhow, let us know more about the ideas you've batted around.
