Everyday Food...
I hesitate to call this "media news" but here goes. I have a recipe in the July/August issue of Everday Food Magazine. Look for my French Potato Salad beginning on page 121. I love the fact that they prepare the dish, then photograph it for the magazine
It's a good recipe for BBQs and picnics because it's not mayo-based.

Thanks! @pooch - Not sure if the recipe will be available online but I'll check after it hits newsstands. I appreciate all the good sentiments. I have been a charter subscriber to Everyday Food. I had forgotten I even submitted the recipe until I got an e-mail from MSO in February. I think the last time I had anything published in the way of a recipe was back in 1998 in Gourmet.

@selkel - it's a French Potato Salad. I understand Martha Stewart has one on her site but it's not mine. The recipe I submitted in much shorter and not nearly as involved.

@bobcat - Great! I think subscribers got it before it went on the newsstand. A friend of mine said she got the recipe online but when I searched ms.com I realized she had another dish called French Potato Salad. I hope you make it and let me know how you like it!

hey, chiff, that's really cool. i remember looking at that potato salad recipe, thinking it looked good and that i would make it this summer when the new potatoes showed up at the greenmarket! how great to know it's one of our friends here who contributed it.

I made your delicious recipe this weekend! I found this posting as I tried to find the recipe in Everyday Food so I could post it along with my photo on flickr. Alas, recipe is not posted.
This was by far THE BEST POTATO SALAD ever. I love that it has no mayo and still remains rich. Thank you for sharing this with everyone!

@lolabix - thank you very much. I am so thrilled you enjoyed the salad! It may not show up online because it's a reader recipe. (Shrugs.) Maybe they'll add it after August since it's in the Jul/August issue. Your photo is absolutely beautiful.

Chiff! That is great. What us kind of weird is that I actually read it earlier today, looking around for non-mayo potato salads, and plan to make it this weekend.
