Ok, all you Jan Karon/Mitford book series fans. This marmalade cake recipe keeps calling out to be made, but I've resolutely refrained. I just gave the Mitford cookbook as a gift to someone, and now am wondering if any of you who have read the series have ever made this. Also, how it is, and if it's worth trying.
(A huge part of me has resisted because of the artificial way this recipe came about. But it apparantly has its devotees, so I'm askin'....).
