Where is a great place to eat in Philly?

I am planning a trip to Philly soon and I love to eat out. What are some places that are a must visit in Philly to get some good grub?

For Tapas, head to Amada.

For Asian, Buddakan is a great bet.

For inspiring Mexican, head to Lolita.

For a great food court and fresh produce, definately head to Reading Terminal Market.

For relatively inexpensive and shockingly fresh, try one of the Dmitri's locations... amazing Mediterannean food!

When ever I'm in Philly I make a point to have brunch at BeauMonde before leaving the city. I would drive down just for brunch I love it so much

I love lunch at the Metropolitan, great for a cocktail too!

Ok so the best place I've been to out here in Philly is this place called Meme. Order the whole roasted chicken it's amazing!

Well other than the obvious Cheese steak (please try both Jim's and Geno's) you should try Amada, which was already mentioned. Its a little pricey but do the higher level tasting menu, it is worth the money and a truly great meal. Budakan for Asian fusion, it blows away both the NYC and Atlantic city locations. And lastly Capital grille, its your typcial high end steakhouse with more comfort food and a small philly twist. I was in Philly for four years for college and it has really evolved into a foodie city in the past few years. Good luck and I hope you enjoy the city of brotherly love!

P.S .Oh and if you want Italian almost anywhere in south Philly is amazing, but Dante and Luigi's is one of my favorites.
