WD-50 NYC???

I have reservations to night to Wd-50. I am not from NY and only have one day in the city. Is this place a good bet for getting food that its good but still unique enough that i couldnt get it at home? Reviews?

Yes, it'll definitely be a unique meal you remember. Frank Bruni's review in the NY Times.

I ate there on my first trip to NYC. It's fantastic. The tasting menu changes, but what I had was excellent, and you can see Wylie poking out his head every now and then to watch how everything's going.

great restaurant - great staff! Everyone is nice - its really intimate and delicious. Probably the best peice of flank steak I ever ate was at WD-50. Enjoy!

Definitely memorable and unique. I love that place.

I would definitely consider a meal at WD-50 a unique and satisfying experience. The food is a feast for the eyes if not always for the stomach, and there is this underlying subversive bent in all the dishes that Wylie sends out. Alex Stupak's dessert creations are also fun and scrumptious; I consider him one of the dessert gods of this city.

I ended up at wd and it was out of this world. We did the sampler and thought the textures and flavors were outstanding. Our waitress arranged for us to tour the kitchen and meet wylie. Such a great night.

The egg dish on the tasting menu right now is insane.

it's amazing! I would deff. go there again!!!
