Sonoran Hot Dog Recipe
Wanted to share Robb Walsh's recipe for Sonoran hot dogs (for Cinco de Mayo!) which seem to be exactly what I've been looking for in a hot dog: wrapped in bacon, covered with refried beans, avocado and cheese, served in a hot bolillo. Dear God.

Mmmm, Sonoran Hot Dogs. I think I might just head on over to El Guero Canelo today and celebrate with 2 SHD's and a Mexican Coke. Anyone want to join me?

I'll be right there. Divine...sigh.

Oh! It's also very important that the hot dog itself goes on top of the onions, beans, and avocado, so that the crispy bacon does not get soggy. Wanted to point that out to any Serious Eaters who wanted to attempt this. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

There's a Sonoran Hot Dog stand near my office here in Tucson. Sounds like a great lunch for today!
