Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris - any recommendations?

Posted by vegemite, May 13, 2009

So, lucky lucky me, I'm in Paris for a month and can't quite afford a 3-star Michelin restaurant for dinner ( I do have shoes to buy as well!).

I'm thinking of having lunch at a 2 - 3 star restaurant as many offer a significantly cheaper set-price lunch menu. I'm tossing up between Taillevent (old-school French, recently demoted to 2 stars), or Le Jules Verne ( Alain Ducasse, Eiffel Tower, view for days).

Has anyone been, or know anyone who's been to either of these, or have any other recommendations for me?

Merci Beaucoup!
