Just reading everyone's tips gave me the confidence to keep plugging away...and I won! 1st place People's Choice and 3rd place from judges. Serious Eaters are the best.

Nicely done. Great post along with the recipe. Sometimes things don't go as planned--it ends up better than planned!! The veggie stock sounds amazing, will be trying that very soon. Thanks for sharing.
