I assume you mean Otto in NYC.
If so, I would recommend, the cured meats/salumi platter, the cheese plate, peas with prosciutto, escarole and sunchoke salad, rigatoni, spaghetti carbonara, bucatini, the lardo pizza, gelato (especially the olive oil -- they serve it with a drizzle of olive oil and sea salt on top), and a glass of sparkling cava. Have a great time!

The eggplant caponata and the salted caramel gelato. And a doggie bag that you can drop off at my apartment on your way home.

Olive Oil Gelato- I know it sounds gross... but it's highly addictive..... and also the cured meats/salami platter... I love Otto!! Have fun!!

figs agrodolce (with a cheese platter, if you like), margarita pizza (yes, it's simple but it's simple good), and a trio of gelatos that includes one or all of the following (their offerings vary):
salted caramel
milk chocolate chip (the chips are melty! I don't know how!)
olive oil

I actually thought the salted caramel gelato was too water and didn't taste of much when I tried it.
Otto's pizza is grilled not baked, but, I don't think it's that special overall, except for the specialty toppings like lardo.

If it's just 2 of you I highly recommend eating at the bar with either Dennis &/or Frank. Those two are extremely friendly know their wine, and will always steer you in the right direction.
When you sit in the dining room it's not uncommon to feel rushed by the service as the turnover is rapid. The bar is a much more relaxed and rewarding experience.
As for the menu, always check out the daily specials. Some staples that I highly recommend which never disappoint, especially when sharing are below:
Salad: Escarole & Sunchoke Salad
Veg: Asparagus & Pecorino, Radishes with Bagna Cauda
Fish: Octopus/Celery/Lovage, Anchovies/Breadcrumbs/Scallions
Pizza: Vongole, Prosciutto Arugula
Pasta: Rigatoni con Sausage & Escarole, Spaghetti alla Carbonara
Gelati: Hazelnut Stracciatella, Pistachio
Buon Appetito!
