Citifield eats?
Heading out there this weekend to see the Mets; I've read a lot of reviews but would love to know what SENYers who have been there think is worth eating.

We've had quite a few chats about this already, so you might want to check out the archives. Quick review from a non-red meat eater:
- Box frites are incredible! I get them every time and vary all of the dipping sauces
- Catch of the day has a yummy fish sandwich and the shrimp po boy is very mustardy but good
- Blue Smoke wings are pretty good
- If you like regular stadium food, the chicken fingers are a great improvement over Shea

Thanks for the tips, will also check archives, which I should've thought to do in the first place.

@Barbara Hanson:

HERE'S THE ESSENTIALS:
The most positive reviews have been about Blue Smokes ribs and pulled pork sandwich, for taste and value.
Shake Shack is unchanged from the Madison Sq. Park location (in line and quality) so expect a 30 minute wait for a salty but tasty burger.
The tacos are filled with deliciously flavored meats but wrapped in very ordinary tortillas. If you do get tacos, go for the triple combo, one of each (pork, chicken, steak) and make sure to get a Sabroso Ale from the taco stand, it's excellent.
The Box Frites, while consistently hot and crispy, are nothing more than diner fries, and the sauces are all underwhelming.
Pizza is tasty, but pricey at $6 per slice. Catch of the Day means well but its also high-priced especially for size of each sandwich. If you do opt for anything here, the shrimp po' boy is the way to go. Don't bother with the Old Bay fries and cheddar sauce. Weak.
Daruma Sushi, Mama's of Corona sandwiches (always solid), and other random offerings (thin quesadillas, garlic fries) are in the World Market in right field. Everything else is behind center field.
Good luck, if you need anything else or have further questions feel free to email me: Lawrence@nycfoodguy.com

If you like sausage, don't miss the sausage grill stands. Very fresh, local meat, amazing fennel flavors wafting thru the concourse. And note the sexy condiment stands.
