Baltimore Cheap Eats?

Hi, I'll be in Baltimore for the next couple of days, staying near John Hopkins University and I'm in need of a few good places to eat breakfast (preferably within walking distance) and dinner (willing to travel for). We're students so cheap is good but at the same time I want to eat relatively healthy good food. A few in our party are also vegetarians so veggie options are a plus. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Breakfast: Blue Moon
Dinner
- The Helmand - Afghani food - a little pricey but not exorbitantly so
- Dukem - Ethiopian - moderately priced
- Iggie's - Fancypants pizza - a little pricey but it's BYOB (though not sure if it still is)
- One World Cafe - vegan eclectic

The Lexington Market downtown may be a good option...lots of kiosks with a variety of foodie options and Faidley's, baseball sized crab cakes to die for...

Dizzy Issie's in Remington. Solid food, cheap drinks.

Holy Frijoles in Hampden is also dead cheap, although it's not authentic Mexican and all the waiters are total hipsters.

There's also good Korean BBQ at Jong Kak on 20th. The neighborhood can be a little sketchy at night, but I've never had trouble. Just don't leave your GPS in the car.

Golden West Cafe. Especially for brunch. Tons of veggie options but also non-veggie options. It's so terrific - I live in NYC with so many excellent brunches but I still crave Golden West sometimes...and I've only been there twice.

The Lex is a great idea.

Golden West in Hampden is fantastic.

Ze Mean Bean in Fells Point's a great Eastern European joint.

Anything in Canton Square including Helen's Garden and Nacho Mama's are fun spots with local flavor.

Joe Sqaured makes pretty good pizza although the service is pretty slow.
