Baked Bean recipe
I am looking for a great baked bean recipe for a Memorial Day cookout. I seem to remember making them from scratch once using the Cooks Illustrated recipe, but they were kind of bland. My mom always "doctored up" the canned ones and for the once every year or so that I eat baked beans they were good, but I'd like to tackle them from scratch again. Thanks for any suggestions!
