What to do with extra bananas?

Hi all,
Does anyone have any fabulous dessert recipes using ripe bananas besides bread or cream pie? Got four bananas sitting on the table. Thank you.

Banana pudding? Frozen ones covered in chocolate? Smoothie ingredient? Replacement for the oil in snickerdoodle cookies?

Smoothies, hummingbird cake, banana nutella crepes or baked bananas with rum.

I freeze them till I want to make say a banana cream pie, smoothies, bread, cookies, pancakes. Oh man a banana cream pie with lots of whipped cream sounds yummy right now.

marachino bug bread! banana split dessert!

How about fried bananas with ice cream?

I freeze mine for banana cake and bread needs, in a zip lock bag up to 6 months.

Use sliced as a topping for french toast or pancakes on Saturday morning!

(Or, like suggested above, make a fresh smoothie to serve along side of those pancakes!)

Banana/Peanut Butter Sandwich (or, make banana bread, then smother a couple slices with peanut butter and grill it up. Maybe even add a few chocolate chips for an extra sweet treat.)

Hope something looks good to you!

If you don't end up using all of them you can freeze chunks of banana in a baggie and use them later in smoothies! I like frozen bananas, frozen strawberries and orange juice in a blender. Since the fruit is frozen it doesn't require ice and the banana makes it thick.

Slice them up into 1 inch chunks, skewer them and then you have the perfect medium for a warm creme en glace or vanilla custard sauce. mmmm. Come to think of I have some bananas that are going to end up in my freezer shortly. oh yea!

Banana ice cream.

I also like them mixed in plain yogurt. For breakfast or dessert. Or both.

Put them in smoothies to add a creamy element

Cover them in melted chocolate, roll them in crushed nuts, and freeze them.

Slather them with peanut butter.

Drizzle some honey and cinnamon sugar over them, grill them, and then top them with ice cream.

Slit the peel lengthwise, cut out a triangular slot, stuff the slot with pieces of chocolate bar and marshmallow, reclose the peel, and toss them in a campfire (or on a grill).

Peel them and freeze them for later use.

I love banana bread, especially Alton Browns recipe. You can always throw in chocolate chips. I also love banana and nutella sandwiches... or panini's which are one of the best things ever. You can also sub nutella with peanut butter. I also love cereal (Total or Kashi) with sliced banana in it. Banana's and soy milk taste so good together.

Banoffee pie! I made it last year and it's already become a family favorite, and it's really really simple. It's fairly common in Britain, but I think America's going to catch on soon! It's basically toffee, bananas, and whipped cream, sort of like dulce de leche on speed. The recipe I use is on Epicurious, but I'm horrible at posting links so I won't even try. Just search "banoffee pie" (duh) and it comes right up. Trust me, you won't regret trying this recipe!
