Spam: What's your policy?

Re: http://www.seriouseats.com/user/profile/DropYourAllergies

If you don't sanction them for spamming, maybe you should do so for their full on assault on English grammar.

I make it a point to never, ever buy a product that's spammed to either my email or touted on SE. In fact, whenever I see someone talking up some new product or appliance or whatever on this site, I usually check their profile. If they have no real activity until said product flogging, that product goes on the list.

That said, if PerkyMac or Jerzee or Chiff or Simon, etc., were crowing about something fab I would totally pay attention.

That comment has been removed and the commenter banned. You can always use the report an inappropriate comment link on every thread (see below) to alert us to spam comments and topics. I often say what I mean. If you have never posted/commented before do not shill me. I don't like it and I will tell you so. It is like door to door salesman.

my personal policy on spam, I get a weird craving for it occasionally, and like it dry fried crisp.... ooops the other kind huh? well I have to agree with Jerzee! although they are fun to mock. ;-)

delete it and I also get a weird craving for the other kind once or twice a year, fried with eggs for breakfast.

@Alaina Browne - Thanks, I hadn't noticed the link. I'll make sure to use it next time.

Sorry for the noise.

Only in musubi...

I'm with chisai all the way here.
I'm a concious consumer with particular awareness in marketing intent.

I'd ALSO consider their products as well :D

My response was going to be: "Only when there is a hurricane predicted." I see I was thinking in the wrong direction.

BTW, spammers suck. I'm glad SE deletes their posts. Kind of like garbage detail...

Oh, I thought this was about Spam by Hormel LOL.

Yeah I initially thought this was going to be a discussion of the canned meat. :D
