If I may be so bold as to ride on the coat tails of Beth1's question about "which spring vegetable are you most anticipating" - How about dessert? Summer desserts bear almost no resemblance to their heavier, richer winter cousins.
I make summer pudding every year. I try not to be too heavy on the blueberries because the color is so deep, everything looks purple (but I just...can't...help...myself). It does contain sugar but somehow I don't feel guilty going back for more - and more.
What's your favorite summer dessert that takes advantage of the bounty of the season??
