Norma, Sarabeth or Isabella?
We're all meeting in the City late May to celebrate my 60th (can't believe it) birthday...staying at the Parker-Meridian and have narrowed Sunday brunch down to these three. Which one is your absolute favorite?

(( can't lie, I thought this was going to be someone asking for SE's advice on naming their baby... )) Based on name alone, I pick Sarabeth!

Isabella's!

skip norma's, not worth the price!

Agree with sarahlucy...although Norma's food is decent, the prices are high, service terrible, atmosphere boring, wait inexcusable (even with reservations), and it's entirely too loud.
Isabella's takes the cake for me, although Sarabeth's sweet breakfasts and breads are pretty good.

Maybe go to Isabella's, walk a few blocks south to Sarahbeth's for soup and some kind of baked good to go.

Norma's is where they replaced the coffee with Folger's crystals. So that is right out.

@JerzeeTomato...are you serious?

Sarabeth's, hands down.
I used to live on the UWS, and ate brunch every weekend. Isabella's is prettier and airier, but Sarabeth's food is better.

Oh, and if you're staying at the Parker-Meridian, don't forget to get a burger at Burger Joint. They're great.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Parker-Meridian and were shocked by how rude the staff at Norma's was to us. We ended up going a block and a half up 57th Street to a wonderful bistro called Rue 57 and had the most amazing breakfasts/brunches. We liked it so much that we went back on two occasions. Do not leave without stopping by the Burger Joint in the little hidden alcove off the lobby. When it comes to Norma's JUST SAY NO (at least until they change staff).
