I will be starting out from Chinatown, but we are hoping to hit Central Park and/or MoMA

you could go to bouchon bakery in time warner center, there are plenty of reviews about in on SE. it is convenient to the park and the moma, and the food is really good.

If you're in the Chinatown area, this might be right up your alley.

there are a ton of good casual places between MOMA & Central Park (although nothing beats Chinatown)... can you be more specific? Type of food, etc.

Momofuku Noodle Bar and Momofuku Ssam Bar are good places to have a casual lunch...food's not bad, either...

We were there 2 years ago and to this day will never forget the incredible meal that we had at Il Cortile in Little Italy. The Rigatoni with the meat ragu was amazing. Try it!!
