$10 gift card to Sur La Table

Hi!
I have a $10 gift card to Sur La Table. My kitchen is pretty small, but I pretty much have everything I want/need.

Any idea what I can spend it on? Thanks!

Nothing, $10 at sur la table wont buy anything, everything there is awesome and I love window shopping but it's so damn expensive. Maybe you can get a keychain and a piece of gum.

lol. that's funny!
I actually work there part-time as a culinary assistant, so I might be able to get additional 40% off :)

LOL, I can attest to the fact that there ARE buyable items for $10 at SLT! I personally love my $200 knives, but there are some cool gadgets to be found!

Vanilla. Buy the big bottle.

What about a new spatula? I must have at least 10 different colors myself :) I'm kind of addicted!

@dharmon - All she has to do now is collect 19 more of those $10 gift cards and she'll be able to buy a knife! LOL

Buy some fun baking stuff...extract, sprinkles, cacao nibs...

Or cookie cutters! I can never have too many.

Get a spider if you don't have one. So useful for getting veggies out of blanching water.

@amanda0730...
At first I was going to say I don't want any spiders in my kitchen, but then I realized what you were talking about.

So far, cookie cutter idea is winning! :)

I got a collapsable silicon funnel there for around 10-ish.

Pinch pots for salts and peppers. They're great for presentation when you're hosting meals in and your guests get to season their own food to taste. For 10 bucks I'm thinking you can get about 4 or 5 of them.

a serrated vegetable peeler... the best!!! They have them for about $8 - but they're $6 at Williams Sonoma though.

'Perfect Cube' silicone ice trays for perfect cocktails. 2 trays go for $12.

A $10 Sur La Table gift certificate is an invitation to spend more. I'm with Hayley - Grab a couple of low-priced ingredients, then make like a shepherd and get the flock outta there.

um, if you work there, you'd probably know better what you don't have and what you could use.

Have you been waiting on pins and needles to find out what I purchased with my $10 gift card?

Well, click here to find out :)
