Whimiscal Wedding Drink with Wine?
My fiance and I are limited to wine/sparkling wine/champagne for our wedding. We'd like to do a sangria, spritzer, or something similar, but it cannot include any additional hard alcohol. Any favorites?

Seems like the possibilities are endless. My favorite is a mango ginger spritzer. What kind of food will you be serving? Might want to think about how the flavors will pair when deciding on a wine/spritzer.

I love a good red Sangria made with Boujoulais, blackberry brandy, valencia orange juice, and then float berries and orange slices in there. YUM

White sangria or Agua de Valencia- most recipes call for some gin and/or orange liquor, but I'm sure you can make a good version without. Fresh squeezed OJ is the real key.

i second the white sangria -- it looks so beautiful. use some green grapes, oranges, or strawberries, raspberries ... peaches. i always add in a bit of a sicilian peach nectar (whose name escapes me)..... it's very refreshing and has lots of eye appeal.

What is the restiction on added liquor? Sangria has brandy or rum or some flavored liquor in it. Sparkling wines are spritzers with no additional liquor in them. Use what you have handy. Personally I would just serve the sparkling wine. It is a wedding.

I had a delicious blood orange spritzer with prosecco at the starlite lounge in san diego, very pretty.

well, I don't know how you would feel about a non-alcoholic option but we had limeade with fresh strawberries and strawberry syrup and it went over amazing!

I've made sangria using red wine, triple sec (you can find nonalcoholic versions) and pink lemonade, then float orange, lemon and lime slices in it. I think I used about a 3-1-1 ratio. Delicious!!

You could also try making Sake cocktails. It's usually allowed where hard liquor isn't.
