Shamrock Shake in NYC?

Has anyone found any McDonald's Locations in Manhattan that carry the Shamrock Shake?

what you don't have shamrock shakes? what's this world coming to? you better move. don't tell me you can't find a green beer.

Now can someone help me figure out is the Shamrock shake green vanilla or is it mint flavored? I had one last year and swear it was vanilla and then my friends went and had them and said theirs were mint.

definitly mint, although sometimes they dont add enough and sometimes they taste like mouthwash but nonetheless i love 'em

I heard the NYC regional managers voted against having Shamrock shakes this year. Is this true? Usually the Union Square McDs is the one that has them every year so maybe that's a good place to start searching.

One of the few reasons I bother with McD, after the Portuguese sausage with eggs and rice breakfast. I've missed them for 8 consecutive years now since they are around for such a short time.

Thanks for the reminder! :P

Rochester has them. Maybe I can ship a bunch to Manhatten :)

Has anyone tried to find it at that giant neon McDo's in Times Square? They always have bizarre stuff (like donuts) so it seems like they're the most likely candidate...

McDonald's in NYC always votes it down to be politically correct. It's the way NYC people think. If you have a shake for St.Patrick's Day, you have to have one for all the other major ethnic groups in NYC.

Someone in New York, Queens, Brooklyn, wherever, would complain that there should be a way to represent other ethnic groups on the menu, instead of just one.

And now you all know the real reason NYC area McDonald's franchise owners vote it down every year.
