Fat Duck temporarily closed due to diner illness

I just read about this on reuters that 40 people had food poisoning after dining at the Fat Duck restaurant. After it was announced in the media there were 400 cases of food poisoning linked to the Fat Duck.

I wonder how this will affect molecular gastronomy proponents. I remember vaguely about reading some protest to Ferran Adria's work and how it's potentially unsafe.
