Cannibalism

Posted by PumpkinBear, March 3, 2009

So, I've been trying to think of a way to write this post without sounding like a total freak ...

Last night I was watching an older episode of Bourdain's show, No Reservations. He was in French Polynesia and cannibalism was discussed at lengh because apparently many missionaries ended up in the stew pots of locals.

I've noticed that there are many adventurous eaters on this site, much more adventurous than me. I've been trying to think of a way to phrase this question. I didn't want to go with, "Would you eat a fellow human?" because I couldn't think of a situation in which it would be alright. But say scientists or chefs or who ever found a way to exactly replicate the taste of human flesh in mystery meat form. Say it looked like Spam, right? Would you .... could you ... try it?
