Malanga Blanca
I bought some malanga blanca today, it looked interesting. Does anyone have any recipes? I looked into making chips, which is my number one option at this point.

Sure... I am not sure if you have a PRican malanga or a Cuban malanga. Both would work fine in any of the ideas below. But for your knowledge - what is known in Cuba as a malanga, puertorricans call it Yautia. And there are 2 types of yautia - white and lilac.
You can boil it and eat it with olive oil. You can also boil it, mash it with some milk and butter and eat it like that like a mashed potato. You can use them in a root vegetable soup called sancocho. You can use it as a base for a pastelon. Here is an idea for a pastelon where you can substitute the sweet potato for the malanga.
You could also slice it real thin and fry it or bake them as chips. I tell you how here.
