Looking for a good local or mail order source for grits
I'm tried of my tried and true Quaker grits. When I lived in NC, there was a mill 20 minutes away that had grits, cornmeal, flour, etc. Now I'm in DC and at a loss.

Anson Mills grits are wonderful and they do mail order but you might be able to find them in a "gourmet" food market.

Wegmans, Fresh Market, Whole Foods all near you.

I don't believe this would fall into the gourmet category, but we had Bob's last night and loved them. Yum. They were so yummy with sage and parmesan that I seriously contemplated sugaring them up for breakfast this morning. Might be worth your while, at least for a try.

Agree with mollykate678, Bob's Red Mill products are top shelf. If you can't find them in a store near you, go to www.bobsredmill.com.

They are known for their rice but they also carry other Southern staples difficult to locate like cow peas and rice flour. Carolina grown products.

I love them - matter of fact I think I'll put a pot on for breakfast this morning.
Thx.

I like Martha White grits. Those are pretty common though...can't find those in your grocery store?

Why not try looking on Amazon.com in their grocery section?
