For every major event or holiday, there is cooking. Isn't that what we love?! But I have to admit that sometimes, I'm challenged to come up with a "menu". I may know what I want for the primary staple in the main course, but then am at a loss for the sides, apps, etc. I would love to know: a) if anyone has any books/resources for menu development for a home cook; b) what you all do for the major holiday menus? and c) Anything you want to say about menus... I would consider myself a fairly good cook, but sometimes the big dinner party menu (sit down dinner) eludes me... I want details... Thanks!
