Falls Church, VA - favorite restaurants

Hi everyone - I'm going to Falls Church, VA this weekend with my boyfriend. We are visiting his family, who are very picky eaters. My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Vietnamese food (and any other food, for that matter). I have heard the pho in Fall Church is to die for. Can anyone recommend their favorite pho spot as well as some other good restaurants that less adventuresome eaters (read: bf's family) would enjoy. Thanks!

I posted this on my facebook to a friend that lives in Falls Church and this is what she wrote:

Absolutely! One of the best restaurants in Falls Church is a Vietnamese place called http://www.foursistersrestaurant.com. TO DIE FOR. Also, any of the http://www.greatamericanrestaurants.com are great for delicious American fare & great service-- good for picky eaters, too. Will try to think of some more...

Oh, http://www.pie-tanza.com is in Falls Church City, and is really good. http://www.dogwoodtavern.com is a small sports bar kind of place in FC City, and the food is quite good. http://www.clareanddons.com is a very casual spot with a laid-back atmosphere-- food is decent to good.

Thank you Floridayaya! This is a huge help. We will definitely try out these spots. This will for sure make the trip a lot more fun!

Haandi. If you love Indian, it is the best you will find this side of DC. It is in the shopping center on Rt 7 just east of Interstate 66.

Gosh, after reading the menu for the Dogwood Tavern, I think I might have to plan a trip north to visit my cousin that lives there!

We went to Dogwood Tavern and Four Sisters. Both had delicious food - everyone loved the it and we all had a great time. The oyster fritters at Dogwood Tavern were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the pho at 4 Sisters was flavorful and delicate. Thanks again!
