Are the lines at Co. still crazy?
I've wanted to try Jim Lahey's new pizzeria since before it opened but want to wait it out til the lines die down a little. Has anyone been lately, what was your wait like, was it worth it, is it safe to go in the water? Let me know! Thanks all!

They're not as bad now, but I'd still advise you to get there as early as possible. It's good, but I don't know if I'd wait more than 30 or 45 minutes for it—unless you wander around and come back. I wouldn't want to have to wait in line for 30 minutes. As it is now, I just go at lunch, when it's pretty light.

Yeah, lunch yesterday was totally open.

I was there for lunch yesterday as well -- 1:45pm, no wait at all.

Is this place worth it? We are coming in from Chicago and can't stop hearing about this place. Mixed reviews.

I can't say from personal experience, but I just spoke with a friend who knows her pizza, and she tried it and proclaimed it the "best pizza in NYC". Take it for what it's worth. I for one will definitely give it a shot.
