Where to buy wild organic Atlantic salmon in NY?

I love the adventure of buying fish in Chinatown but recently with all the info about farmed salmon and antibiotics, etc. I really want to know where my fish comes from. Does anyone know where to buy salmon that is inexpensive yet healthy?

I'm not clear whether wild fish can be labeled organic.

If you have a Whole Foods as an option, their frozen "Whole Catch Wild Alaskan Sockeye" is really good for a good price ($7 for 12oz here in Virginia). It's Marine Stewardship Council certified as sustainable and it's wild caught.

Atlantic salmon is, by definition farmed, so you'll have a lot of trouble finding any wild Atlantic salmon.

I recommend looking for Alaskan salmon, that is the wild stuff. And given that it is wild caught, there is not really an 'organic' labeling option, as it eats what it eats...

Get some fine canned wild Alaskan salmon and make salmon croquets with it. Canned salmon is very cheap these days. 15oz for $2

fresh direct has certified sustainable wild caught alaskan salmon. Will that substitution work for you?
