Tomato Sauce ideas

So, I made a kind of crazy mix-em-up tomato sauce, but one that is totally delicious. I took two frozen tomato sauces that I had frozen, defrosted them together, added some pork stock and let it reduce a bit, and then added a can of tuna to that. It was probably the best tomato sauce I've ever made, despite its frankenstein conception.

Anyway, I'm wondering what I can do with this sauce for dinner tonight. It was great on spaghetti last night, but I'd like to mix it up. Anyone have creative ideas for 2 cups of tomato sauce?

throw some shrimp into that and put it over rice -- or penne.

or do a baked penne with your sauce with a layer of homemade fresh breadcrumbs, parlsey and garlic on top.

I would want to pour that over veggies...maybe a sort of ratatouille?

I like the baked pasta idea...with some seasoned ricotta spooned in?

cover boiled potatoes with the sauce, sprinkle cheese & parsley and bake?

Cat......just kidding! (I'm in one of those moods) Seriously though, how about chicken--like some sort of cacciatore dish-that's what I usually do with leftover sauce.

@pooch Did the shrimp idea, with some flourishes. Will post on my blog soon, keep an eye out at Ben Cooks Everything.

Ooh I like sadiepix's idea of a ratatouille. That sounds good! Or you can always mix it with a protein and serve over rice if you're sick of pasta. Or, how about meatballs?
