Storing Homemade Bread
I have recently begun baking my own bread and was wondering if anyone could offer advice on a good way to store it. I have found that it goes stale quickly due to the lack of preservatives. I tried storing it in a plastic bag, which seems to keep it soft but if I get a nice crisp crust then this also becomes soft.
So, any suggestions from more experienced bakers on storing homemade bread?
