Roasted Potato Salad?

I'm not sure where I saw it, but I could have sworn I saw a cooking show that featured an old fashioned potato salad (celery, mayo- the works), but the twist was that the potatoes were roasted. I've been looking for the recipe online, but haven't encountered anything I like.

I know of warm potato salad, but I think that has some kind of vinaigrette on it- which I don't want. I want to use mayo as the base, but I don't want it to get all melted and greasy seeming because of the hot potatoes.

Does anyone know the recipe I'm talking about and if not, do you know of anything similar worth sharing?
