Questions for Anthony Bourdain

Going to a lecture by Anthony Bourdain tonight. Interesting questions you might ask?

I asked him last year at a lecture in Orlando if he was going to continue his awards show at the South Beach F&W Festival....hahahaha!

I'd like to know what his death row "last meal" would be and what his favorite food city in the world is.

...oh and please post back and fill us in on the lecture! I'd love to read the details.

I believe he talks about his 'last meal' all the time. Roasted beef marrow with sea salt and toast...how odd that I know that off the top of my head.

What destination have the producers pitched to him that he refused to go to and why?

He may very well have talked about this, but I haven't been following: I'd be interested to know his thoughts on Andrew Zimmern's show, and if he's ever felt he's been on the wrong side of the "food (and implicitly, those that eat it) as freak show" line.

But I also like Traveller's question.

Thanks for the ideas so far. I have two extra tickets if anyone in the Raleigh/Durham area is interested. 252-567-2688. I am going to try and ask travellers question if I can.

I would ask him about the show Kitchen Confidential and if he had any input during the making of the show and if he enjoyed the show at all. I know I liked the show. :) I do believe the show was based off of him...

I'd ask what his cholesterol count is and how about those liver enzymes?

I would ask him what could possibly have possessed him to shoot that awful, awful What's Your Trip show.

@renzata: Bourdain was a special guest for one whole episode of Zimmern's show a couple years back as they ate their way through NYC. I remember enjoying the segment and the interactions between those two, as both are my favorite food/travel TV hosts. It was funny how Zimmern still gagged at swallowing durian (the first time was during his pilot episode in Asia). Long live the King of Fruit!

My question for Bourdain: when will he be back to Indonesia? I remember how smitten he was with my home country when he did his show here... come back soon, for there's sooo much more to discover!
