Question about Favorites

When I go into my profile, and I click on the "favorites" tab, not everything is showing. It says "recent favorites," but doesn't give me a place to click to get to my not as recent favorites. Could someone tell me if there is somewhere else I need to click as well, that I am just not seeing? Thanks!

Hi, NYCEater: I think the Favorites are configured to show the last X-many faves. I'll talk to someone here about increasing the amount or paginating so you can move back more easily.

So, if I am understanding this correctly, the way it is currently programmed, no matter how many things you favorite you will only be able to see the last X many, and there is no way of getting to the older things you favorite?

If there is any way to paginate, that would be great, since I (and I'm sure many others) have been basically using the favorites in place of bookmarking (since my bookmarks was getting too crowded with SE posts!), but now I can't get back to it!

Thanks for the quick response, Adam!

Yeah. I wasn't in on the "Favorites" development, but I'm assuming that's how it was programmed. "Show Last X-Many." I'll bring this up in our Monday meeting and see if we can paginate.

Prob here, too. Thanks for checking into it. I currently use Firefox w/Vista. Thought it was just my inept computer skills!!

I've said this before and I'll say it again...SE staff please please please integrate some of the features of the main site into the mobile site. My phone is the only way, for the most part, that I can get on the web. If I could post new threads and use "favorites" with out having to use buggy third party browsers, i'd be in SE heaven. Pretty please with foie gras on top?

Also would like to add that Talk should have the Favorites feature. I was just reading a Talk piece that i really liked with like 50 responses and thought "don't have time to read this all now. great time to use Favorites for the first time" and nice dice. :(
