need help with old dessert

Mother in law unexpectedly passed away, would not give up her recipe on one of my favorite desserts. She was old Itatian.

The turnover type consisted of chick peas ground very fine to smooth creamy consistency. It had chocolate, fine nuts and was wrapped in a crust with powdered sugar on it. It also had cinnamon in it. She has been gone since 1999 and I still miss her and her cooking.
