New Aureole is Great!

I had dinner at the "new" Aureole last night. I call it "new" since they have a new chef--Chris Lee (formerly from Gilt). Food is exceptionally creative and delicious! I started dinner with a poached egg, grits, porcini mushrooms and prociutto di Parma--excellent (and I never wanted to try grits before). Main course was a venison tenderloin with pomegranate, dark chocolate sauce, macadamia nuts and sweet potato puree--yummy! Dessert was the lemon chiffon with citrus fruit and frozen sheep's milk yogurt--perfect way to end a spectacular dinner. Service remains flawless.
