Kitsch Food Items Websites
So, since no one anywhere near me appears to be selling, or trying to sell on behalf of their daughters, any Girl Scout Cookies, I tried online to see if I could order them. While I was unsuccessful there, I did find that their website has some pretty fun, kitsch, Girl Scout items, like bookmarks, cookie tins, et cetera.
So, I wanted to first show that my fellow Serious Eaters, in case anyone else out there is interesting in looking at things like that, and wanted to know if anyone has run across sites like that they found interesting and could pass along, like General Mills products (Cheerios cereal bowls, placemats, et cetera). Or am I the only one? :)

I've would love to buy some GS Cookies as well but also don't seem to have any neighbours with Girl Scout daughters. Does anyone know if there is a website for this?

In my area (suburban Philly) the GS's seem to sell cookies, in groups, at places where there is a lot of foot traffic; i.e., supermarkets, liquor stores, etc. They have the cookies right there - no ordering and waiting for delivery. Instant gratification!!

I have also seen Girl Scouts selling cookies outside supermarkets here in suburban CT.

oh for gosh sakes, call your local girl scout office. they're all over the place. say you want cookies. you'll have them coming out your ears in no time.
