I heart stuffed ________

French Toast! Stuffed with a vanilla mascarpone cream cheese and fresh raspberries, sprinkled with a dusting of powdered sugar and drizzled with real maple syrup! yummy :)

What do you love stuffed? Peppers? Squash? Do you love stuffing? What is your favorite? And what do you love it stuffed with?

Cupcakes - stuffed with magical surprises like chocolate ganache or cream filling.

...pretty much everything! You name it, I'll stuff it - cabbage, peppers, onions, potatoes, aubergines, courgettes, grape leaves, kugel, apricots, puff pastry...one can argue that mini pies are just stuffed dough, too:-)

I don't know if I can play favourites here, reallyl. For stuffed veg, I usually make some kind of a meat and grain fulling (mostly rice or quinoa), with different herbs and spices. I used to love cheese filling for peppers, but since I'm the only one in the house who eats cheese, I haven't done this one in a long while. For stuffed puff pastry/mini -pies, the possibilities are endless, of course.

Brookie. We're kindred spirits.

@Meg - yay, I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one!

pasta or peppers or pastry.

Or even peppers stuffed into pasta and/or pastry.

Wait, have I invented the next turducken?

Paspeptry? Trypepsta? Nah, never mind.

Pork Chops (or chicken breasts, or veal). My favorite is to stuff them with a slice of romano or parmesan, a slice of pear, and some fresh sage (chiffonade), close it up, and saute in apple cider. YUM.

mushrooms.
and cupcakes. mmmmmm nomnomnom

Surely everything is better with the right stuffing?

I agree 110% with the stuffed French toast--the best place to eat at my campus used to make stuffed French Toast with cinnamon raisin bread and cream cheese. And cupcakes too, of course. Turnovers as well.

Half the fun of stuffed stuff is taking the stuff apart :)

Cereal boxes and cracker jack boxes with prizes or 'lucky charms' in the middle of cakes.

Birds. That's all :)

mushrooms. and artichokes. yum.

Artichokes and mushrooms! yummm

pasta, bell peppers, pastry, mushrooms, avocados, chicken. you can make almost anything better by filling it with cheese.

Garlic-stuffed olives

Oohhh. Stuffed peppers and stuffed cabbage and stuffed olives. I will eat practically anything you stuff an olive with. Except anchovies. And stuffed mushrooms. And birds of all kinds, especially cornish game hens with wild rice stuffing. And beef negimaki! And turnovers. And rice balls with spicy tuna or umeshiso, or those great pink pickled garlic cloves or kimchi You know when I think about it, there's not much that I don't like stuffed. Except maybe pasta. I am probably the only person I know who doesn't really like (with rare exceptions) ravioli and its ilk. Oh, I just remembered! Scotch eggs.

Ham and cheese stuffed french toast and blue cheese stuffed olives....not at the same time though :p

Pasta stuffed with ricotta, meat, potatoes and cheese/onions, or whatever they put in wontons, but no sauerkraut, because that ruins pierogies. And fish stuffed with crabmeat/lobster/whatever else you can stuff in there. And peppers. And birds, preferably turkey but I'm not picky. Ooh, and do stromboli and calzones count as stuffed? And one time I had pancakes stuffed with apple pie filling, and that was fantastic.

Oooh, @cycorider, you reminded me: my Gan used to make stuffed crepes, both sweet and savoury versions, these were bloody amazing! Time to recreate them, I think.

And of course, there are stuffed pastas and dumplings of different kinds, too...mmm

I love stuffed mushrooms and baked stuffed shrimp... Butter overload whoa!

I also love the usual stuffed pasta shells with a ricotta mix and any homemade ravioli (butternut squash comes to mind mmmmmmm)

Flounder stuffed with crabmeat is an oldie but favorite of mine. Also love
chicken cordon blue, beef wellington as long as it's light on the foie gras.
My fav is spanikopita. Light flaky phyllo stuffed wih garlic, spinach and feta.
Oooo, I want some now.

I love stuffed foods. It can be a turkey stuffed with my favorite bread based stuffing, portobellas stuffed with nearly the same and topped with mozzerella, peppers stuffed with most anything (cream cheese, cheddar, sausage, whatever) Any butterflyed cut of meat becomes a dish with stuffing. I

@heart--can you say that three times fast? :)

I heart stuffed artichokes, stuffed french toast, stuffed olives (with jalapenos), stuffed pasta of just about any kind, stuffed peppers.... I dunno, it's hard to think of anything stuffed that's bad.

I heart stuffed baby eggplants (stuffed with Indian masalas and cooked in spicy tomato sauce)...and I heart stuffed mushrooms (stuffed with spinach and parmesan cheese).

I love stuffing in any way, shape or form:

bracciole, stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, shallots, pec rom cheese
cabbage rolls
Sausage, sage and onion stuffing for birds
Parmesan, artichoke and sourdough stuffing for more birds
Steamed artichokes with parm cheese, shallot, garlic and bread stuffing
Green olives stuffed with pimiento, onion or blue cheese
pork chops ...uh...stuffed!
crab and cheese stuffed mushrooms
chicken stuffed with ham and cheese, breaded and roasted

pork chops...with blue cheese, and mushrooms.

Stuffed pasta shells
Stuffed mushrooms
Stuffed turkey
Stuffed poblanos, rellenos-style
Stuffed peaches that are then broiled
Stuffed apples
Stuffed zucchini
If it can be stuffed, I am there.

Stuffed cheeseburgers! Cheese on the inside of the meat is fun! :)

@buffy--when I was reading this thread, I kept thinking of George Carlin's monologue about how so much of life is "trying to find a place for your stuff."

Clearly the answer is to make stuffing!

clams, turkey, mushrooms .. do twice baked potatoes count?

I like just about anything stuffed with the only exception being meat stuffed with meat. Turducken and things like that just make me slightly queasy, and reminds me to much of the fairy tale the firebird.

Olives stuffed with anchovies
Eggplant stuffed with spicy Italian sausage
Chicken Kiev
Green peppers stuffed with fresh mozzarella, corn and extra-firm tofu.
Flounder and crabmeat.

I Love stuffing!
If I have cuts of meat that I can't stuff (thin pork chops, boneless ckicken breast, etc.) I make a casserole with the stuffing on the outside. That probably doesn't count as stuffing I guess.
I would say my favorite stuffed thing would be the Thanksgiving turkey. I couldn't live without it. I think I would stuff stuffing if it was possible!

I love the stuffed mushrooms from Maggiano's... they're just awesome. Filled with spinach and topped with bread/cheese crumbs. MMMMMmmmm!! To me, they're teh best thing on the menu...

But I have a tendency to stuff things too - bell peppers, chayotes, crepes, tortillas, manicotti and ravioli pasta, potatoes, dates, olives, tomatoes, and various versions of stuffed mushrooms too...
