Farmer's Markets... Any on Long Island?

Now, that spring is around the corner, I was wondering are there any good Farmer's Markets in the Long Island area? An outdoor market dealing in baked goods, fresh jams, honey, as well as good produce. You would think there would be a few but I have yet to see any in years past. The only one I know of is in NYC. I would appreciate any of your suggestions. Thanks everyone!

i'm quite sure there are, just google it up ... i'm pretty sure the hamptons have one.... they're springing up all over ... like daffodils in spring.

Yes, springing up like daffodils is a fair assessment.

The Hamptons have 4 now, including West Hampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton and a new one due to launch in Montauk this season.

The North Fork has one in Riverhead and one in Greenport.

(See http://www.edibleeastend.com/content/index.php/find-a-copy/find-a-copy.htm#Efarmersmarkets.)

Here's a listing for markets in Nassau County (http://www.nyfarmersmarket.com/regionmetronassau.htm) and another for Suffolk County (http://www.nyfarmersmarket.com/regionmetrosuffolk.htm).

Happy shopping.
