Cheap dinner recommendations in Cobble Hill
I'm going to be in Cobble Hill on Wednesday night and would like some inexpensive dinner recommendations (entrees would preferably hover around $10...ehh) in the area. I looked at this previous topic of recs, so if you have anything else to add please let me know. I eat pretty much anything!

I'm going to restate the Joya recommendation, because it's just so tasty and cheap. But kinda loud at night.
I also really like Bocca Lupo on Henry Street. It's small and intimate and generally delicious. It's at the top end of your range, at about $10 for a panini.
Let us know where you end up going and what you think!

i wish i could say better things about the offerings in my neighborhood, but honestly, it's a much better place to get ingredients and just cook dinner yourself.
but not to be a total killjoy, what about hibino (corner of henry and pacific)? its the only place i've come across in the city that has the kyoto-style obanzai, which are pretty cheap. good, authentic japanese food isn't always the best bargain, but one of the pressed sushi rolls here (starting around $11) is more filling than you'd expect. plus, the cute factor is extremely high.
a few blocks down, the wine and italian tapas spot bocca lupo (corner of henry and warren) is a gorgeous, windowed spot. nice wines, but the food can be inconsistent. it's small plates, though, so one mediocre dish won't ruin your night.
lucali (several blocks further down on henry) is delicious, but the price borders on obscene (last time i was there, $18 for a plain pie) and the no-reservations and we're-worth-you-wating-outside-for attitude there is even worse.
oops, there goes the killjoy again. just make sure you get here before 7 p.m. and before dinner, hit up sahadi's (atlantic ave. btw. court and clinton) for some deliciousness- bulgarian feta, chocolate-covered cashews, deep-fried cauliflower- to take home.

there's bedouin tent on atlantic between bond and nevins, yemen cafe on atlantic between clinton and court {technically boerum hill} and zaytoon's on smith street.

Zaytoons is good. The combo mezze plate with warm pita and a side of falafel was more than enough for two, and only $8.50. The lentil soup and their pitzas are nice too.

I ended up going to Bedouin Tent! I got the merguez platter with baba ganoush...tastyyyyy stufff. Haven't had merguez in ages. Our waiter was really nice and even gave us free desserts. ;_; On that note, the baklava and yogurt cake (which tasted like cornbread...at least, I think he said it was yogurt cake) were also yummy.

I missed this when it came thorugh, but here's my 2 cents!
Yemen Cuisine is amazing. There are two other spots on Atlantic that are also good, but this one is my fave. Try the Chicken Gahloub.
Building on Bond only opened a few months ago, but they have relatively cheap sandwiches, a decent burger and great ambiance. They've also got beer on tap and pretty good coffee.
Nicky's is a known commodity, but not everyone remembers it's right there on Atlantic! Great, cheap bahn mi.
Fast and Fresh Deli on Hoyt Street has killer tacos and tortas but nowhere to sit. It's only a block from my place though so grab something to eat and come on over!
